When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026, the day after US Thanksgiving, and Cyber Monday is 30 November. Many shops start their sales earlier in the week, and some run them into December.
We'll start checking and adding kitesurfing deals here from Friday 20 November and update the page every day until Cyber Monday. If you'd rather not keep checking, the sign-up box on this page sends you the list once it's live.
What's worth waiting for
- Kites and boards: the biggest discounts are usually on last year's models as the new ones land, and for 2027 that has already started. Duotone UK cut its 2026 Rebel SLS and Neo by 25% in September. If a 2026 kite suits you, it may not get much cheaper on Black Friday.
- Winter wetsuits: they're in season in November, so a big Black Friday cut on a current winter suit is a genuine find. Boots and gloves are already reduced at Ann's Cottage in some sizes. See the winter wetsuit guide.

- Safety kit and accessories: vests, helmets, pumps and bags. Note today's prices in our safety checklist and impact vest guide, so you can tell a real Black Friday cut.
- Presents for a kiter: camera mounts, hook knives and changing robes don't need a size. Our gift guide sorts them by price.
How to spot a real deal
- Compare against the shop's normal price, not the RRP. A "was" price the shop never actually charged isn't a saving.
- Check the model year. A "Black Friday" kite might be two seasons old. That's fine if the price reflects it, but check the product code against the brand's site.
- Watch the size. Clearance deals are often one size only (Ann's Cottage's £50 boots were UK 6 when we checked).
- Mind VAT and shipping from EU shops. Some show prices without VAT to UK visitors, and import VAT may be due on delivery.
- Check the returns policy before buying a harness, wetsuit or boots you can't try on first.

Friday 27 November 2026. Cyber Monday is 30 November. UK shops often start earlier in the week.
Do kite shops do Black Friday deals?
Many do, but the biggest kite discounts often come earlier, when the next model year lands. In 2026 Duotone's UK store started clearing 2026 kites in September.
Is Black Friday the cheapest time to buy a kite?
Not always. Previous-year clearance (autumn) and the January sales can be just as good. Check our 2026 kites on sale page first.
