The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the shop pays us a commission. You pay the same price either way.
Affiliate links appear as "Check price…" buttons and as "See more on Amazon" links. Some "Check price at…" buttons go to shops we don't have an affiliate arrangement with. Those are ordinary links that earn us nothing, and we include them because the shop stocks the product.
Amazon Associates
Kitesurf Compass is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk. As an Amazon Associate, Kitesurf Compass earns from qualifying purchases.
Other shops
At the moment Amazon is our only affiliate programme. If we join others, they'll be listed here.
How shop buttons are ordered
When several shops sell a product, we show up to three. Among the shops that have it in stock, they're ordered by how much the link is likely to earn us, based on the commission rate and how long the shop's referral tracking lasts.
Prices can differ between shops, so it's worth checking more than one.
What commission doesn't change
Commission never decides whether a product is recommended or what we say about it. We don't accept paid placements, and shops and brands don't see or approve anything before it's published.
Cookies from shops
When you click an affiliate link, the shop or affiliate network may set a cookie to record that you came from this site. Those cookies are covered by the shop's own privacy policy. See our privacy policy for more.
