The short version
This site doesn't set cookies of its own, doesn't run advertising trackers and has no user accounts.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies or fingerprinting, and it doesn't identify individual visitors.
Hosting, fonts and domain
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes visitors' IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, as described in the Cloudflare privacy policy. Cloudflare also runs the domain's DNS.
Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google to fetch them (Google privacy policy).
Affiliate links
If you click an affiliate link, the shop or affiliate network may set cookies to record the referral. Those cookies are covered by that shop's privacy policy, not ours. See the affiliate disclosure.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you and ask us to delete it. The site itself holds almost none, so most requests will be about emails you've sent us or an email-alert subscription.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change too.
